CupSize That link was the 0-62 timed at 6.6 and was the standard manufacturers claims, as opposed to 6.9 for the Cup. Ive seen the S3 timed at very low 6s, and APR I would imagine would be high 5s!!

Pete, with a MK2 172 from Aberdeen(fit like min!;)), had Toyos on his car. He commented on them being crap in the wet! He did a pretty good job with keeping up though!!

I think i could maybe knock 2/10 off my 0-60 only by getting better traction over the 1st 60ft, id expect 2.6/7 over the first 60ft/30MPH. I dont think the 0-100 time is going to come down by much though! If you go by the official reanulty figures the MK2 being 7.0/7.1 and the Cup being 6.9...

Having a closer look at that, I think I changed out of third too soon on the second run. On the first run I ran the neck out of it in third, on the second i changed as soon as the green light came on, you can see where I start to loose time after 80!

I think the 90-100 part of the run waas slightly up hill, Ill try a true run at Crail in February, it really is a usefull bit of kit, Ill use it to see what difference these new Cup mods will make!

Ive had another story tonight from my brother, that this guy with a 172 cannot pull away from someone in a 2.0, 121 BHP MR2, there is no way that should happen. I still think my first 172 was a complete dog!

Think about it though Simon. 2 cars that are supposedly the same perfornmance wise, sit beside each other 30, floor it in second your not going to blow him away by the distance you are stating, unless there is a power deficit!!

Putting 95 Ron in your car will result in the car not achieving the full 172BHP, the ECU expects 98 Ron, well thats what it says in my manual and my fuel filler cap anyway, Ive never ran it on anything but Optimax, ever!
