    I personally have a vacuum coolant filler/bleeder so don't do the method. But when I didn't I used to do as you have, then fire it up and open it again. As it will have pumped a bit of air to the top.

    No there isn't. And you don't need the heater on hot either as its not on a valve regulated circuit.

    No more than a door bar on a roll cage. But in honesty it's all rounded edges, so tbh there would be more pain from stuff like the harnesses

    BA6 9LU. Closed until new year though. Who did the timing belt? If it was just a general garage then timing is generally out.

    Make sure birchdown are happy to fit customer supplied parts. But be aware it will usually end up with you having no warranty on it if you do.
