BBC3 rerun of an episode from few years back, Hammonds on about scrapping old cars and when theres a down the side shot of the mazda 323 in the garage, theres a LY 182 on the drive at the house opposite :)
Popped the Turinis on, cleaned it and found the old SLR kicking about looking sad for itself, so stretched the car and the cameras legs and took a couple of snaps not on phone camera for once
comments and criticisms welcome as always, and yes I know the headlight washer is still missing...
As the superlegs have only been on for a week and are about to come off again to use the tyres at shakespear this weekend on the mk 1 I figured i'd best get a couple of snaps!

Are 172, phase 1 and 2 and 182 injectors all essentially the same? i.e. can all be interchanged without issue? And if so can they be totally mismatched or must be kept in complete sets of same type?
Cheers
Ben
Right, thought i had sorted my issue but it ran fine for about 60 miles and its died again

so far i have (all to no...

whats the deal with arch liners, are they all the same for the sports? or are the phase 1 and phase 2 different, are the 172 and 182 different?

I took my front bumper off tonight and noticed that the lower 2 fixings to the subframe and associated panel/plastic tray part are completely missing
can these be had seperately and my bumper repaired? or is it new bumper time?

Ben
Just bought a slightly tired whiteline arb and the outer bushes are a bit worse for wear

I know the subject of inlets has been covered multiple times but I cant find a definitive answer and I'm bored of the search function having spent the last 20 fruitless minutes attempting to figure it out for myself.

Friend of mine has removed the ABS from his clipsort transplant thats in a mark 1 clio
the car has a bias valve so no comments about removing fuse being dangerous yada yada, the cars braking system is fine, its mark 1 spec and works perfectly, its just the mark 2 loom/ecu wants to see ABS that...

Right, my daily 172 is getting to the end of its time with me, i toyed for a while with replacing it with a few other motors, something outside the clio world, but in the end after speaking to Dave88 (well moaning to him) about the lack of FF RB's up north, he mentioned Luke (The Boosh) was soon...
Decided for a bit of a change i'd pop the silver superlegs on the mk 1, gives me a chance to clean and seal the black ones as they've not had a proper clean since i had them refurbed couple of years back :-)

Excuse the start of this thread, its all going to be copy pasted from other forums to get upto speed, however...
I have recently moved house, so like a good lad I've rung up and registered my change of address, I have moved to a slightly less reputable post code, one notch down I believe when I researched it so I fully expected a bump in the premium a small amount.
I have both cars insured through the...
