We tried one of these mirrors when we built the car, brackets were too big and i tried using gaffer tape to bulk out the cage, fkn pain and gave up and sold it.
DO NOT GO BACK TO THIS SO CALLED GARAGE.
The gearbox is more than likely to be the dogbone mount ( this connects the gb to the body with a rubber bush) and your exhaust is just blowing.
Neither of these have anything to do with the arb.
