By the tool. I almost smashed my windscreen in when getting mine off, such a fkn pain. I used a bearing puller I had at work, but the right tool makes it much easier.
Fogs out, with the surround trimmed away, and no liners. We tried deflector plates and ducting and stuff, but it just all gets in the way.
Do you hang onto your brakes? It could be the way you are braking, and this wouldn't help the situation.
Best you carry on then James, I'm on holiday for 2 weeks as of Monday, then that leaves me a week before the 1st race. I do have a spare standard engine sat in the workshop if all else fails.
