    New 271bhp Hyundai i30

Yeah it's still a bit "skoda" but they did alright in the end. It's still an unknown, could be dog dirt. Only time will tell I suppose.

What mileage is on your 182

42k, bought 3 months ago with 41k. Used 2-3 times a week for the commute, just so it's not stood really, all other miles track bound. Loving it.

    New 271bhp Hyundai i30

270 horses, launch control, switchable rev matching and LSD (yes it's a leccy dif, could still be good). There is rally pedigree, believe Haydon padden drives one in WRC. I bet it's cheap and reliable, what's not to like???

Spax rsx vs gaz gha opinions

Sorry, I'm not sure how I managed to quote you on my last post. Only intended to quote the OP.

Spax rsx vs gaz gha opinions

Can't see you going wrong with either of the gaz coilovers, just comes down to budget and how track focused you want you're set up. Post up you're decision/ findings if you can.

Spax rsx vs gaz gha opinions

Based only on what I've read I'd go for gaz over the spax, definitely save the extra for the golds though.

What have you done to your car today ???

Lifted the front seats this morning, got the last of the Axminster/foam etc out. Just left with the bare floor complete with tar patches and an airbag light!!

    How secure are clios?

Push button start. The worst thing to happen to car security in a decade.

    How secure are clios?

I wouldn't have another German performance car given to me, and mine was 8yrs old. Enter the 20 pence Clio, leave it unlocked

    How secure are clios?

Sadly yes. If the theory fails however, the ba****d probably won't start anyway
  11. New2RS

    How secure are clios?

Any car with a push button start can be stolen in minutes without keys, M3's, M5's, RS4's, the list goes on and the value goes up. £500 Clio with no interior? That's all the security you're ever going to need

    182 Full fat track slag!

Few bits done this weekend. Discovered a puddle in the passenger footwell on Saturday so after considerable effort/research trying to pinpoint the leak I decided pull the interior which was always on my to do list and hopefully once removed it will be far easier to find the leak. So here's the...

    Beneath the scuttle

Afternoon chaps, Just looking for some clarity on a water ingress problem in passenger footwell. Got the scuttle off and I'm unsure if I have parts of the guttering/drainage missing. 1st photo bottom left corner of the windscreen has plastic guttering connected via the white strip. The passenger...

What have you done to your car today ???

Great day for the Clio. Lifted the passenger floor mat, found a puddle, swore repeatedly, hit things then sulked. Sorry no photos

    f**k you clio! *puddles*

Ya buy cheap, ya buy twice. The wheelie bin French build quality certainly lives up to the hype. Except wheelie bins are water tight.

Im torn between keeping the 197 or swapping to a 182

Fair enough mate, I just read the situation wrong on your replies. I've never driven a 197 so can't comment but I took a big "down grade" from an s3 8p to find a car which was more "fun" and I definitely found it in the 182. Test drive needed

Im torn between keeping the 197 or swapping to a 182

Don't take this the wrong way mate but you really don't sound like your interested in driving at all For 2 miles a day if it's reliable, I'd just keep it.

Looks nice and tidy mate. Used to love those things, can't believe it's 27 years since they were terrorising council estates all over the country.

    182 Full fat track slag!

First time round Donington park park on the evening session last Friday. Car worked really well, enjoyed the circuit and will definitely go back. Unfortunately I'm now quite sure the famous dephaser pulley has given up as I'm getting the diesel locomotive melody when the engine is hot. So with a...
