I wouldn't worry to much if your only slightly over as long as it looks ok and the paperwork adds up you'd be unlucky to get weighed.
I've been stopped a fair few times and never been weighed they just go off the stamps on the trailer/vehicle.
If it’s a daily I’d probably throw in the towel and buy something newer.
If it’s a toy then I’d keep it up with the maintenance on serviceable items while squareing some money away in an account to give it a refurb/restoration at some point in the future.
If your mates got a charge machine then it's a piece of piss, Just add the oil to your new compressor (low pressure side) give it a few spins by hand and away to go.
If its a new part it might already have oil in it btw.
Edit: Need to replace the drier aswell just so you know.
Either add it to the compressor before you fit it or suck it through the service ports. (little black knobs on the top of the ac pipes)
I wouldn't attempt it if you haven't got the proper tools tho, get it wrong and you will f**k the compressor.

Guess its because they sell a lot more impacts and there isn't much competition for battery die grinders.
Die grinder and some more 2ah batterys.
It wasn't vastly cheaper with the code than some other ebay sellers but authorized reseller so guess it's worth it.
