Snetterton Track evening Thursday 4th April £59

Yeah should be as they said it will take about 2-3 days unless something unforeseen occurs but even then it should still be done. If it's not done I won't be at the meet...

Snetterton Track evening Thursday 4th April £59

Snetterton Track evening Thursday 4th April £59

Well I couldn't have had it on my car looking the way it did so thought I'd give it a go! Place that is sorting is called Lustre Coatings and they're down Potash Lane @ Hethel near Lotus. Had a look around their workshop/at some of the work they'd done and they look like they'll do a proper job...

Snetterton Track evening Thursday 4th April £59

Long story short bought a carbon one, lacquer peeled when aerocatches were fitted, I attacked it with a pressure washer and knife making it worse and now paying carbon place to sort it properly! I'll be there next month though fingers crossed week starting 20th as long as something else don't...

Driving In Limp Mode...Is It Safe??

It has been running perfectly with no limp mode the last two days so I have no idea what's going on with the stupid car?!? Limp mode limits you to 3k RPM so I was able to do about 50ish when it was doing it!

Driving In Limp Mode...Is It Safe??

Quick answer there Dan :) So apart from p'ing everyone off with my slow speed I shouldn't in theory cause more probs??

Driving In Limp Mode...Is It Safe??

As title basically?? I've got to do a 90 mile trip tomorrow and I'm guessing my car will likely to go into limp mode soon after starting the journey so what problems could I cause if I kept driving?? Thanks

    Local Knowledge Needed...

Update.... Well started car up this morning and limp mode had gone but engine management light was still on. Drove it a few miles and all the lights and limp mode came back. Took car to Cit-ren for some proper diagnostics and a a total of six random electrical/sensor faults were showing. Got...

    Local Knowledge Needed...

I used some petrol as I'd read on here that it can be used and I don't have much else really so hope that was OK? I was a bit worried so have kept the fuel rail guard off so I could keep an eye on them and there's no fuel leaking out from around the injectors so I'm assuming they're in fully...

    Local Knowledge Needed...

Take it if I haven't pushed the fuel rail back on hard enough it would be leaking fuel from around the injectors?? The thread title needs changing to "The Story Of Phil's F'd Car!!"

    Local Knowledge Needed...

Fuel rail back on and car going again... Not all good though as car is still in limp mode with service, esp, electronic fault and engine management lights on same as last night when it went. Code reader shows the throttle position sensor fault that normally shows when something completely...

    Local Knowledge Needed...

Driving home tonight from work think the injector went completely! Limped it home and thought f**k it I can do this! I've got as far as putting the new injector on the fuel rail which is off the car. Hardest parts were figuring out how to unclip the injectors from the wiring connectors and then...

EoE March Meet - Great Yarmouth - Sunday 31st March 16:00

The ticket machine was a pain in the arse as I too had to scavenge £3 in change but the three people who I scavenged off literally gave me change which the bloody machine then wouldn't take so I then had to swap the change for pounds! Least I paid all mine back though... Good to talk to you...
