It's the 172 cup that has different shafts, missing the support bearing.

It's only the abs rings that need changing not the whole shaft.

That makes sense my 172 has the bigger Ariel base aswell. However it’s not fitted with a sat nav which is a bit odd for them to put the wiring in.

They don’t absolutely need the torx as the push fit holds them in place anyway. If you get the old one out you might be able to get some mole grips on the thread and wind it out.

How much did you pay for it? If it was cheap I’d sell it for parts and just buy another would probably work out cheaper than paying for an engine swap.

Sure most new vans are as refined as cars now, interiors of the news transits and vivaros are really nice with all the mod cons. Plus your higher up than most Range Rover drivers.

Well if you want a more constructive comment would of been better off going with a crew cab van. More practical, 6 seats, better handling, higher driving position etc etc.

If it’s only happening when your on the clutch then the clutch or flywheel probably needs replacing. If it’s the engine then checking the injectors would by my first port of call if it’s running rough.
