It’s got a (very!) expensive gearbox that was built by a place in Doncaster. They build drag cars. Box is rated to 2000ftlb.
Rear diff is also massively uprated so it can do this....
My mate’s just bought this. 300+BHP and 750ftlb. It goes like the clappers and is SO unsafe it’s not even funny.
but hilarious none the less. Oh and it does wheelies.
This was AS Actimousse!
I’ll stop by a shop tomorrow and grab some proper shampoo. For the sake of a 10 mile detour I’d rather do that than f**k my hands up.
Guys, I have ran out of shampoo (yes I’m bald, fnar fnar) and my supplier isn’t due in for another week.
yesterday I used a tiny drop of snow foam instead and whilst it worked great - the slickness when washing was unreal - but today my hands are like leather. Proper shiny and stiff skin.
does...
Rust. I wouldn’t go near a V6 (or a more expensive 172/182 for that matter) without being able to see it on a ramp.
they’re old now, and French. With a lot of plastic hiding the metalwork.
cambelt seems to always turn in to a clutch as well. (Engine is out so it makes sense)
clioV6.net may be...
Surely the standard CS reaction is to sell the clio and buy a Long Wheelbase Mercedes sprinter? Because one very teeny tiny child needs Sooooooo much room.... 😂
I had a Honda Accord centre silencer, and a transit mid pipe with a 90 degree bend in it. All out the scrap bin. Paid my mate £40 to weld it all up.
sounded the absolute b****cks! 😂
Go to a website called autobulbs direct. Stick your reg in and it will tell you every bulb size on the car.
no need to remove the bumper. A few airbox/battery trims to remove and it’s really accessible.
And you need an undertray. Which is still in the wrapping in the back of my car.... 🤦♂️
can’t wait to see where this goes. You’re certainly not shy on spending money on your cars!
Significantly.
the aftermarket cats are made with cheap materials and a mixture of alloys. OE cats are made of much more pure metals.
an OE Honda Accord cat is worth £500+ To the scrap man. You can buy a cheap copy off eBay for £110.
@JB21
I bought some MRF’s today. My pal uses them on his clio track car and he’s tried every tyre going. He’s done around 10 track days and they’re only just starting to go off. He sings their praises very highly.
here’s mine, arrived today.
To do it properly, will be around £350-500.
that would be a repair of the arch and paint the whole wing and blend in to the door.
a cheap smart repair company could do it for less than £200 but I’m yet to see such a repair A) look good and B) last a long time.
yes you could repair it...
Late night last night doing some final checks and a quick drive to make sure I was actually selling a car that drives nicely... 🤦♂️😂
it needs the tracking doing and the gearbox oil changing as it’s a pig when cold but lovely once warmed up. But I’ll let the new owner explain why he won’t be...
Why can’t you use a standard dash? What the fascination with a fancy one?
unless I’ve been out for a particularly long stint and am conscious of fuel, I can’t recall ever looking at my dash on a track day. Wouldn’t see it through the red mist anyway.
fit an oil/water gauge, rev counter, USB...
