You can drive your car to the test station regardless of where it is as long as its booked in. However as soon as you touch a road with no tax you're breaking the law. Simple as.
When I brake my fog light on the dash flickers on and off. Sometimes it's very faint and others its fully on. My gf has a 53 plate 1.2 Clio and it does it too. Any ideas what it is? Obviously it's an electrical fault somewhere but anything more specific would be helpful.
Thanks :)
In my eyes 'mint' is a well cared for mechanically sound car which is clean all round with no dents, fills, scratches etc. which this one was.
It's personal opinion at the end of the day.
I average 37mpg without even trying and I do 40miles a day. Every time I fill up it always says I have around 412 miles to a tank, which I do achieve most of the time!
I might just get a set of pe3's then. I was going to go down the ad08 route but either way anything is better than the death traps I bought the car with.
Haha I know! It's just taking the first plunge. I'll need to get some decent rubber before I do anything though.
I'm sure you guys are all nice and forgiving gents :)
I really want to start doing these at knockhill, but I've never raced on a track before and I'm scared about just being thrown in at the deep end. Ill be the d**k holding everyone up!
This may be a really silly idea but has anyone ever fitted a mk1 focus rs splitter to a 182? I had a fiesta st a few years ago and fitted one to that (as a lot of people do) and in my opinion it looked awesome. Seeing as the clios are a similar size I thought this might be worth a try?
thoughts?
My advice is neither. I'd keep your current car and get some no claims bonus built up then you can buy whatever car you like without huge insurance costs. I made that mistake and its sickening the amount of money I've wasted on cars and insurance over the years.
You've been changing all these engine parts and fluids etc, but have you considered the handbrake is stuck on? Or something simple like a seized calliper?
