Think they're about £40 for the weekend. Unfortunately I don't know anyone that could lend you one.
Re: 172 Cup track toy!
That's me just booked for the 3rd. A few more spaces have been added but they won't be there for long.
Ordered myself some new ball joints and track rod ends to tighten up the front end as there is some play.
I'll hopefully being doing the trackscotland one on the 3rd of november but I think there should be more after that. I'll see how much time I've got after that for any more.
So it's not just me that is up at this time?
I use a ph2 fuel rail with std alone fpr regulator. Very straight forward to do. Just tee of the for the fuel rail before the fpr and then the return goes from the regulator to the tank.
If you're going boost you'd be better of with a separate fpr rather than the ph1 unit so it can vary the fuel pressure with the boost.
As long as you have 2 lines on the sender you should be fine for a flow and return to the tank.
How does the tax thing work by buying from the states? Do you only have to worry about it hrmc find out?
Also, bit of a long shot but was wondering if you knew my mate who is in the marines and has been based down in your neck of the woods? Hid name is sgt Martin 'slim' Pitman.
Re: 172 Cup track toy!
Went for a blast yesterday and did just that. Sounds good and pulls hard at only 0.5bar of boost.
Also, checked with my infrared heat gun the temp difference after a good thrashing of the down pipe and the brake master cylinder. The down pipe with ceramic coating and...

If you go to the shop you'll see how many spaces are left. £100 for the 4 hour open pit afternoon.
It's only the fronts ill be fitting initially so that I can get rid of the window switched from the door cards so that my cage can be fitted. Do the fronts fit ok and just slip into the sliders with no sealant?
Also, do we get a discount as I don't see them in the discount section?
Why would you fit a naff induction kit when the gains by a so called reputable make are marginal?
The airflow of the cheaper induction kit may lose you power and it may not filter out as much so it's a lose lose situation. To add to that, it will look cheap in your engine bay so it's a lose...
Going to get me some polycarb windows from acwmotorsport but just wanted to see if anyone thought the anti-abrasive coating at £60 for the fronts was worth it or not?
Re: Namakubi Clio 172 Cup "track project"
Yeah sorry, I meant I prefer the pagid's.
I use the ds2500's on my Impreza using stoptech brakes and they work very well but never thought much of them on the Clio and can be very temperamental to squealing. The pagid's never squeal.
Re: Namakubi Clio 172 Cup "track project"
I noticed a massive difference between ds2500's and the pagid blues. They are expensive but are way better and last forever IME.
I wouldnt use anything else now. Brake dust is not too bad either and they don't eat discs. In fact, the only negative is...
Re: 172 Cup track toy!
Doubt it mow mate. Not got enough time to get the miles on, change the oil and filter again and give it a good going over in prep for track before then with the arrival of my baby son last week. I might still pop up to put some more miles on it and say hello but don't...
Re: 172 Cup track toy!
First 100 miles I revved it to 3k with little boost if any. Next 100 miles I have been taking it to 4.5k with a little boost of about 0.3 bar.
Now I'm on the semi 10w40 I am going to give it a little more boost and take it to about 5k over the next 100 miles then up to...
