^^ hitting the brakes, make your back end swirve out ; that's driving !
But i'm also guilty of long lasting brakes, taking curves hard. I have however also been in situations where hard braking made it a lot of fun making it through the curve in one piece.... always hard throttle...
scrap yard ..
I think you should get one because your gearlinkage and gearstickmounting are also getting hot. Might even melt the plastic used in the linkage between the stick and selector
any chair will fit, the subframes need to be bought to suit the car. I have sliders on there yep. Some of the buckets you can get with a reclining posibility but if weightloss is the thing you're after then you should get fixed buckets. I bought mine mainly for weightsaving and for a good...
^^ well spoken Lee :)
I used to own a 280hp Impreza but the Cup is a lot more fun. But like you said , the Cup is "on the edge" very quickly and you will need all hands and feet when nailing it.
BUT ;That's also the best part of the Cup ..it's just plain raw and far less "adult" compared...
i changed my ITG (because it was awesomely filthy) for a paper one and it's fine. No difference whatso-ever .. Have to get it on the rollers anyway to see how my new filtersetup has worked out ; i'll post results.
But changing the ITG to the paper one and having a blast straight...
I was confused by the phase 1 comment ; you are driving the 182 from your avatar are'nt you Schwepp ? Or are we talking about a phase 1 bumper here ; where some of the headlightbracket can be removed ?
^ very easy, only a b**ch-tight fit , you will have to get another silicone elbow or cut some off the oem one .
OR ;) get a 70mm straight silicone connector piece for 5 pounds and go my route (which ofcourse is marvelous) :rasp:
Means relocating battery and flattening the ecu too which is...
^^ well i'm ordering one then ;)
I am convinced that it's all up to the person handling the gearstick to ruin the box or not. I have never rushed gearchanges so i think it will be okay. I have stated before that the pin itself would give problems but after talking to people with experience +...
^^ you def need tracking done once rod-ends are done . And i suppose they have done the ball joint on the lower arm ? i hope it has'nt come loose ! Check that when tracking is done
driveshafts ? Tracking wo'nt give you rumbling . or wheelbearing
*** on second thought ; could be tracking .. was it the ball joint you replaced or the trackrod end joint ?
How do you find the gearchanges ? A lot shorter then original ?
i also have the MB one , without the pin. Would like to know how your findings are once you have removed the pin . Supposably it shortens the throw by another 30%
^^ the thread you are on about guys (from the mag. article) is moved to the sticky's !
And btw ; Maxogen was not tested along with the 4 others here which kind of sucks really. I was waiting for this one to be tested alongside the others
As for the V6 airbox ; it works really good...
i was once looking hard to get some 10mm hubcentrics and just could'nt find em. Stopped me from getting some brand new 2118's with offset 45 for a price that was just unbelievable :( I stuck to the good old Turinis
engine does'nt have mounts as we know it on a race/cup car. When it would be flexible the sequential box would have difficulties so all the flex is taken out. No flexible engine mounts on a cup
