All I remember is he had a Ph2 Flamer with dark wheels and had a leeds or northern accent. Sorry I couldnt remember your name! I was gassed!
Party was at Marston, Lincolnshire.
If your going to get a Williams get an original ph1! The ph2 and 3 are still good tho. Spend the money on a decent one and you cant go wrong, all will have had there rear arches done at some point so just make sure they have been done properly. Awsome car!
Now I was thinking about getting 15"s... but I'd need to get some wheels first and 16" 8's are only £95 a corner! so in the long run I think I'd be better of sticking with the Turinis. I use the car daily (running 888's) and to be honest I dont mind spending money on decent tyres even if they...
Looking to do a few Track days fairly soon and wondered what sort of Settings/modifications I could do to increase overall physical and mechanical grip.
My front Sachs's are in need of a refurb and currently have 34k on them so taking that out the equasion what else is there that will make a...
Re: Mk1 Hybrid rebuild
A more recent pic - all the front end is now sprayed (bonnet, bumpers and wings)
Would someone also be able to anwser this, does a ph1 16v have silver inserts in the bumpers?
Yes they are pretty stiff on the road, but never driven any other variants other than a ph1 172. The Trophy is noticbly grippier and more controled than the Ph1.
Im going to be respraying a few parts later today but have ran out of panel wipe and I need to get them done today. Can I use Acetone to clean the panels? any other suggestions?

I use them every day for work and weekends, I have done about 1200 miles on them so far and they are wearing as you would expect... quite quickly. I think I will be lucky if I get 4000 miles out of them.
In short they cost about the same as PE2's but I predict they will last half as long but...
I have 888's on the Trophy. Tbh they are over kill for road use but once you get some heat in them they are pretty epic! in the damp they are ok. I dont think you could ever get them up to optimum temp on the road tbh... but I like to try ;)
I had a ph1 and my flat mate had a dc2. The honda is alot more raw and slightly faster than the ph1... but if you can afford a Trophy get one, they own!
