This could very well be it. My other car had your symptoms a little while back ; changed them and it turned out they were worn out and had a lot of play. Drives like new now
MAYBE they serviced the car before selling it to you and put in new oil... hard to see on the dipstick then as it's very clear stuff then.
i hope this is the case anyway... check BEFORE filling up again !
Supposably the 182 all have the "RS" lower manifold which is good enough / alot better than the 172 lower manifolds. Not really worthwhile doing the 182 manifold matching , brings almost no improvements so i've heard/read
this charger will be next on the list ; nice mod to look out to + start saving up for! All sounds to good to be true :approve: reliabel high power and gearbox friendly
I think it will be there much earlier and not as heavy of a hit in torque. A turbo needs exhaust fumes to spool up untill it can release power so revs have to be made to get it spooling ; the charger will be spinning all along even at idle because it's belt driven
Re: f**kING RAGIN! !!!!!
Have you checked to see if anybody has a window overviewing the parkinglot ? Maybe reseience or office ? I once had a motorbike stolen from me and i rang all people doorbells overviewing the spot where it was parked ; it got me the tip that there was a van parked...
^^ looking in my service history mine have been changed every 35k. First time was done by previous owner at 36k , i have just done them again at 70+k
The mounts were'nt torn or broken, just felt a lot of engine movement and i want it TIGHT
^^ I emailed Ben a while ago about this one; he will do it ofcourse when you want but it will cost around 500.
And when looking at the Angelworks site, you see the pics of the reworked inlets.. Does'nt look like the ones he is selling ; i think this is the "cut-open" one in the pic.
^^ no problems yet Chris. It's just the first thing the best man working on my car said when he saw the gaskets we were going to use.
Car is running , all is done ; cams , inlets, exhaust manifold. Only thing is that the idle goes funny, have to blip throttle to keep her going. At first i...
^^ neither can i Chris ! I'm absolutely happy with the H&R's , they're safe when i go very unsafe ;)
Loving the rideheight of his car though.
I kept mine like this, how they came out the box ;
reading the blog, i noticed the adjustable pulleys that go with the cams.
Are these also neccescary when running cams that should run fine on OEM (remapped) ecu ? I've just changed my cams but am now ondering if these pulleys would have been best to do alongwith the rest ? Or is this for...
^^ also yep
Found this ; told you it was'nt cheap (to do right) and supposably not good for your nice Yozza system :(
