Don't, your Internet provider will end up throttling your speed.
Same happened at my mums, provider thought there was a problem with the line (due to the disconnections).
Re: HP Elitepad, iPad retired.
What's the screen resolution like DK?
TBH it was only a matter of time until the competition caught up, especially as iOS hasn't been revamped since 2000 BC.
I dropped my old 3G down the bog (luckily it was piss free water) and mine was fine after a week on the radiator (wrapped in a towel).
Lasted a good 12+ months after the incident.
The following vid it suggests the Fusion is pretty rapid (albeit slightly slower than an SSD).

Got to be worth the extra surely...
There will always be new players coming and going.
Sony dominated for 15+ years, I just see that dominance coming to an end. It was always going to happen at some point, nothing lasts forever.
Looks can be deceiving mate and I'd hope that Sony might finally get it right after 15 years of trying.
Sony were always going to release details about their new console first after the disastrous start the PS3 had. The PS4 unveiling was widely deemed a flop as it was hardly groundbreaking...
Cheers Roy!!!
In that case I think I'll give the Fusion a shot, I honestly cant justify the full SSD cost as I'll only be using the machine for basic everyday stuff.
I'll also leave the RAM at 8GB and upgrade via a 3rd party.
What was the PS3? It was marketed as being the ultimate in home media hub (albeit a flop).
What makes you think the PS4 will be marketed in any other way? Sony haven't even released a picture of the unit yet.
If anything the Microsofts future is looking great and Sonys is looking massively...
Cool, so the refurb ones are pretty much as new (no scratches etc)?
Cost isn't really an issue, I'll be sticking most of the cost on a 0% CC rather than using savings - free borrowing :-).
Is the fusion drive worth the dollar?
I'm guessing apple care is a must?
I can get a heavy discount through work, around 10% iirc and office for £8.95 so was going to buy new.
Don't most use the edu link? I'm not aware of anyone getting busted but I could be wrong?
New iMac, worth the cash?
Will be used for general computing (office, surfing, music, email etc).
Have no need for a MBP as portability isn't important (I already own an iPad and a new works laptop).
I'm thinking 27", i5 2.9GHz processor, 8GB ram, 1TB Fusion.
Good buy or would the base 21"...
