Well the screen wash smell will be your screen wash. You can smell the screen wash inside the car.
The whistling will be either a gap in the windscreen wipers, like mine or the windscreen seal.
I believe he's like it in every single "for sale" thread.
I'd personally sell him the car for £100 and watch, as he tries to deal with people asking for just the passenger side half of the rear bench, or 7 wheels nuts.
Brake fluid would not be gushing out if the pads fell out.
My advice would be to get the brakes bled. Being the cheapest and simplest option, then if that doesn't solve it, you'll know the problem lies deeper.
None what so ever. The only difference you'll see depends on how worn the various suspension components are, on the individual cars. Track rod ends, ball joints etc.
Just adding my two penneth, having recently gone from 16"s to 15"s, I'm amazed I didn't do it sooner.
The bigger profile gives loads less road noise, and a much less "fragile" feeling ride. Why in gods name any one would have 17s is beyond me, I'll stick with my cheap comfy tires :approve:
I'm not overly impressed with T1-Rs. So far they're a lot more slippery than my paradas in all road conditions.
The only thing I'd say for them is they aren't phased by standing water, which the paradas were.
