On my 182 if you put the accelerator pedal down it stops the push it harder an it clicks and goes to the bottom. What is this for... When you want to open her up??

rite i have just brought a clio williams and the clutch is rock hard.. im only a little boy (19) :) and it aches my leg after a couple of miles driving basically i was wondering if anyone else has the same problem... or is it just my williams .... thanks
