Just a few from me ...
I love a bit of motion blur amongst a static photo ... shows life!
Why didn't I leave my camera on the nice manually set white balance of the first picture?
Krispy Kreme rising over Vee ;) which is significant to Capricorns like me ;).
And the all important...
Yep ... and I'd even specially polished it in a mixture of salt and grime for the meet too ;).
Great catching up with some old friends who I don't get to see often enough, as well as meeting some new folk too .
First time that the super tax bands have been retrospective, so double whammy for me with the Vee in the top band, and the missus' petrol 7 seater in the £300 band :(.
Bet you it was still freaking dirty afterwards! My missus' bus occasionally gets "treated" to the car wash and despite the "gold service" hand pre-wash it's still always got bits that have been missed and dirty wheels .
My Vee had its first MOT last week. Booked it for one day under a month from the first registration date to ensure that I had maximum warranty to run whilst still getting an MOT that runs from the registration date.
Passed without problem ... well apart from the very tight clearances on the...
A smidge over 6ft for me, and so my seat is all the way back, but the engine behind me doesn't complain ;). I actually find the driving position very comfortable, though the Vee has the advantage of the gearstick being raised compared with my old 172.
Exactly what I've found in the Vee ... I get about 0.5MPG less out of Tesco Super than I do from V-Power. I thought it might be down the to the fact that the Tesco petrol has a higher proportion of bio-ethanol than the Shell?
Sorry for the slow response ... it's half-term and so I've been busy encouraging my children to wander around places most people wouldn't bother with :D.
The law is actually the easy bit ;). As long as you don't damage anything yourself or carry tools (whilst of course taking full advantage of...
Facebook allows slightly longer videos, and of course allows you to better control who can see them.
Also so happens that I was just reading about www.viddler.com as an alternative. Never tried it myself.

Knack to photography is to understand how the shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and white balance affect the picture that you take. Hence you've got to move outside of auto mode ;). Don't know if the 400D has a "program" mode, but if it does then that's often a good place to start since it'll allow...
Grrrr ... I so don't! A wee bit of wee padding sorts me out :o.
I'm very proud that at my age I still drive a car as cool as the Vee, and make it to meets and the like :D.
Yep ... you need to drop the GT from the thread title. It's a R5 Turbo II, and I'd love one in the garage next to my Vee if I had the spare cash!
Sex ... http://www.flickr.com/photos/ulfbot/71839583/in/set-1086456/
I'd then finish it off (tho' my garage isn't quite big enough for 3 :() ...
Done exactly the same on my Vee. Started about a year ago, but only tried to get it sorted when it went in for its 24k service last week. They agreed absolutely that the leather was "perished", but the workshop chief wouldn't authorize a replacement. Hence, I've got to get on to Renault Customer...
Unlikely ... you're lucky to get glass in your windows on a Cup, and even that is "lighter weight" ;).
Must admit I turned the auto lights off on my Vee because where its lucky and gets to live in a nice garage it was for ever powering the Xenons on just to turn them off when it emerged into...
The killer with the picture in the tropical house is the lower light - especially when I'm shooting at the zoomed end of things. I almost always shoot on ISO100, and so eg. the rose tarantula was shot hand held at 1/3 of second!
It is great having Marwell just down the road though. If the...
I'm a member at Marwell, and it's lovely going there with a long lense!
A weeny bit from me too from over the last year :o.
And then I was lucky enough to get a behind the scenes tour of the tropical house by the senior keeper, who's a keen photographer too :).
So any of you keen...
The only time I've ever "timed" mine was using a video camera on the speedo. Didn't do the 4.5krpm dump the clutch "Clarkson" approach, because frankly the Mk2 clutch doesn't like that, so was basically quick off the clutch and fast on the accelerator. From the video footage, 60 came up in...
