Re: 98 octane petrol!!!
Yep ... and furthermore there's a noticeable difference between the supers too.
The Vee is absolutely designed to run on 98 RON - anything less and the ECU has to mess with the timing. However, not all supers were born equal.
My preference has always been to run on...
And I must apologize for being slightly facetious :o.
Cane Hill isn't an easy place to explore with very dedicated security and a serious fence. It is explorable if the dogs don't get you ;).
West Park is even worse with lots of cameras and IR fences. Proper mission impossible stuff! It used...
Post HDR on 28dayslater and you'll never make it out of rookie status ;).
UE pictures you say. I've got a few too :D at ue.veehicular.net. Far too many favourites to post here tho' :o. I've got a whole wall of tiny select shots at work!
Hence just one that I've always liked...
Nope ... just a T-shirt that immediately goes see-thru' once you've "accidentally" been made wet . I've got a small microfibre towel you can use to dry yourself off with once you've finished cleaning the car ;).
I've got a little £30 Freecom USB DVB card. Once I'd run a proper aerial feed for it, and taken the booster off that feed since it doesn't like the signal too strong, it started working beautifully. Paired with a little bit of freeware to make it appear as a standard media stream too and I'm...
Peter's on here as Clio_V6_255. He and I are both admin over on v6clio.net.
Here's a picture of his clean car and mine covered in 3 months worth of salt :o at last night's Krispy Kreme meet ...
("Don't you know who I am" ... I'm a spamwh*re!)
Welcome to Krispy Kreme ...
Our enthusiastic helper Jason who was a bit surprised when 50 of us turned up ... he runs a Pompey cruise forum, and knew to ask the correct question of "who's got the best Clio, one of those V12s" when we first...
100% the switch. I had one go in the first year, and my second one is on its way out now and hence only working 1 time in 5. As Dan say it's a 5 minute job to do, and only needs the normal covers off. Will be a warranty job for mine when I get it in for its 24k service in the next few weeks.
You've just got to think out of the box ... literally ;)
I've had several late night blasts up to IKEA Croydon to get stuff for the missus. Takes a bit of planning ahead to make sure the dimensions work, but between the front seat, the front boot, and the shelf behind the seats, you'd...
The sarcastic answer is that after fitting one to my Vee, it jumped to 1234BHP at the wheels ;).
The real answer is that they're almost universally regarded as being a waste of time!
Yep ... it's mostly about the body parts on the Vee. A cat D on most cars would suggest some serious damage, but on a Vee it really doesn't have to be anything more than cosmetic unfortunately. Eg. clip the curb in the wet, damage the rear suspension, a rear wing, and a rear bumper, and suddenly...
I've got a DSC-H1 on which I've taken about 35k pictures ... so I'm definitely a fan of the Sony H range :).
The H9 has definitely got some super features. The lense means that it's very flexible, from panaromas (tho' obviously not stupidly wide), great macros, up to super telephoto shots...
Just have to look at a Vee the wrong way to cause £4k's damage :(. Way more damage than that there, and the car is a write off without a shadow of a doubt :(.
