Having a word with Yanoo he said bending isn't the best option and advised on shortening the main shifter-gearbox linkage. Think I'll give this a go next weekend :)
the shaft (ooo err) on my shifter already has a slight bend i reckon this will be a good bend point just below the top slider but how far???? Don't want to end up with It on top of the handbrake lol
Had a similar thing happening on my old s3 which got worse the harder I pushed. I couldn't see anything wrong, neither could a specialist then one day reversing out a space on full lock the cv disintegrated, completely!...... Maybe worth trying a new drive shaft?
Thanks for the info, I've got the renault pulley lock tool so do you think it might be worth a go using a laser tool? They may be sh*t but if I'm only really relying on it lining up the cams before and after changing the dephaser it should only be there to guide. I'd make sure to use reanult...
Is the Laser camshaft timing tool any good? The one which locks camshaft behind the cam seals
Genuine Renault ones are on backorder and I can't find one anywhere......... I've got genuine tools for the rest but not sure whether to risk the laser?
If anyones got experience do tell......

With low sub mounts and plastic washers and runners removed you'll have loads of space just don't fancy your neck should you have a smash :astonished:
Although I might have a spare sub mount for sale soon :tonguewink: not sure if I can be bothered to fit passenger buckets
Yup I just fitted these seats with jonfoz sub frames and it's a doddle.
Worth trying the seat first if your tall I'm 5'10 and my head nearly clears the Head rest
Brilliant method so easy to do and takes 5 mins.
However get a mate to turn the car on or wedge the pipe in with a rage before starting....... otherwise you end up with a engine bay full or PAS Fluid like i did :fearscream:
