It's the only car that I've had that's got most things considered with weight loss. Too bloody good! I love to fiddle but got nothing to fiddle with.
Well done Renault!
So it's not the engine!
Sorry if I caused any sarcasm. It's a sh@t question I know. But there must be some weight still to loose. What part are we talking about?
Looks very very nice. Always loved the blue ones. Blue and gold imo are a subaru match. Personally its silver for this colour, boring it might be, but just looks right.
Out of interest whats your "bonus power"?
Scrap the yellow smelly tree ;0)
Hi,
Ive got a cup and i was wondering IF there was any way of loosing some Kg on this car without completely stripping it? I want to use it for track days but also would like it as daily user.
Any options of lighter parts available? Is it worth it?
Glad ive read this thread as its something ive been wondering. (Sorry to steal your thread) What ARB is best / Value for money ??
Whiteline i know is one. But i do know its slightly thinner than another brand but cant remember it.
i was sent a .cal file and instruction (PDF)
Its all loaded now. The code need to be the same. Been for a quick drive idles at 950/1000 rpm. Lost the 5k kick. So im guessing its all right. Dont know if theres really any power difference as ive not had the car long enough to be used to the...
Yes I did and am currently in email with him. I was under the impression the map codes are different. Obviously looking for the performance map for mine. I'm told the Nrs should be the same. It's all new to me and as much as I read into it the more it's confusing at times. Or I'm just plain stupid!!
Hi done a quick search with no answer.
I'm ip to the point of loading my new 97+ file but when I select write ecu the files open on my computer but all my files are empty? It's like it's opened a different part of my laptop. I'm using windows 8.1
Becoming very frustrating as I'm so close...
Thinking about fitting a short shifter. I know some of you will have them fitted. Are they worth it? (Never had one) Also are they hard to fit?
Any recommendations of where to get one if they are worth while.
Thanks!
Not at all. It's very hard to come across over text. I used to be on a Volvo forum years ago and was a member for years. As also you saw the same questions over and over from new members. It does get annoying at times.
Sorry for a repeat of a question. But it's a forum with many new and old members. Unfortunately it will always happen on any subject. If we all used the search bar all the time there wouldn't be any new threads.
That's nice to hear. I'm sure a lot of these cars end life early due to being ragged to death and not looked after. It's just you don't see many past 100k really.
Ive used Auto Glym Ultra deep shine on dark / darkish paint. Very easy to put on and even easier to take off. Leaves a great finish too. well worth a try imo
Hi All as title.
Done a little search but link wasnt working. Prefer not to use Halfords. Cannot see the match being very good (from past experience)
Cheers
Hi,
After reading a thread, im just wondering what is classed as a high miler for a 1*2? I used to have a Volvo 850 t-5r yellow estate @ 145K. and that was classed as fine. Would these engines be good for 150k? Or am i being stupid?
Before buying my 172 come across a few "lost miles" on the 85k...
Looks in very nice condition, love the colour too! I always look for paper work. Check the MOT history to check its not been clocked.
