Who's got a short shifter? Hard to fit?

Thinking about fitting a short shifter. I know some of you will have them fitted. Are they worth it? (Never had one) Also are they hard to fit?

Any recommendations of where to get one if they are worth while.

Was meant to also say does it damage the gearbox in any way?

Ah right. Looks pretty cool to me but I don't really think it makes a MASSIVE difference. Unless your using it on track?

Im planing to but in all honesty i hate the long gear stick (still using car for road use). Or is that what makes the difference?

The longer stick just means you don't have as far to reach for gears

You can swap for a Scenic gear lever which is slightly taller, and fit a yanoo stiff shift which will tighten the feel up.

I recently got the Pure Motorsports shifter, its epically good! Not to difficult to fit, even though I had a mate who had fitted his before help - 2 people would be best for fitting.
