    If it's a T plate, surely that makes it a Mk2 Ph1 which is likely where the confusion about which bushes are required is arising from.

    They've been trying to shift that for a few weeks now, numerous ebay auctions ending very close to the asking price but obviously not close enough for them.

    chugging, flashing engine light n smell of petrol.

    Very likely to be pencil coil, very common fault. Can check them by taking one out at a time, if engine sounds worse then its not that one, no change in engine noise then that be your culprit.
