I love my flocked dash, had it about a year and I think it looks so much better than standard. As long as you have a good hoover with a brush attachment it isn't too difficult to keep clean either. :)
Yea it's been out for ages, I snapped the screw holding the spoiler on so haven't bothered sorting it.
Good to see everyone, hopefully next meet is a bit warmer!
Even the low mileage examples would need the belts and dephaser doing (if they had never had them done before) - its based on time as well as mileage. :)
I've killed the majority of my cars so only ever actually sold one, and it went to a guy an hour away down in London so I'll probably never see it again.
I also thought this. The garage put it down to the fact that the battery may have been the original and as it was so knackered it just meant the car couldn't start. Personally I can't get my head around it and don't really understand how a new battery has fixed my problems but like I say, it...
It appears to have been solved, yes. I had a new battery put in a while ago now and have since not had any troubles with starting the car or the immobilser at all. I must admit though that I keep expecting it to develop problems, but I'm glad that so far it hasn't.
Unlucky mate. If I were you I'd be tempted to see what a few places would charge to fix it - might not be as expensive as you think. Seems you are pretty set on selling though. What have you got lined up next?
I may have my Turinis refurbed at some point and have been toying with the idea of going gold or bronze, but I'm not really sure how this would look. Has anyone ever done this? Any photos would be great.
*edit: Damn! Spelt Turinis wrong in the thread title!!*
