    Sh**ing bricks about cambelt etc

Really? A new engine will be over £500 in itself, let alone the cost of other replacement parts and labour.

    182 Exhaust Photo Request

Eh? The RS192 is practically the same slash cut angle as the Milltek image I posted.

What a difference a jack makes.

I am SUCH a r****d. I also have Halfords jack, and to get the front up in the air, I have to jack the car with the one that comes in the boot a bit, then use the trolley jack to do the rest. I didn't even think of driving the car onto something to give extra clearance :o Oh, and I use the...

    PE2 Vs Rs2

Thanks ripp, sounds like the v12 is probably suited to me more for now. Shame nowhere has them in stock!

    PE2 Vs Rs2

How does the Hankook RS2 compare to the V12? Camskill seem to show about £20 difference (neither in stock though!)

    Puretech racing f1 simulators

Gatwick is relatively close to me, a meet there would be AWESOME!!

What a difference a jack makes.

That jack looks awesome. What jacking points are you using on the rear for the axle stands? I always use the sills, as I'm not sure what else to use.

    Clio Cup Racers

I want the yellow one. Although I'd probably roll it on the first corner of my first novice track day.

    Cambelt change on Wednesday!

I hope you haven't jinxed it now, it'd be terrible if it went before Wednesday :( (I've probably jinxed it now!)

Buy a CS.net membership, and give Sky Insurance a call. You'll get 20% discount with them.

South East FCS 2011 5th June Attendance List

I've decided I want to come, but I don't own a tent, and I like the idea of a convoy, so I'll probably drive up on the day :)

Anyone in the South East area fancy meeting up for some pictures?

I was considering a decat, but I ended up just getting a cat mod done and having the centre silencer removed, sounds perfect for me now :) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DIwGScQG84 My name is Nick, did we meet in Southend?

LeMans 2011 Team Tour... 'We ride fast, We ride light'... losers assemble.

Looks like you lot had an awesome time last year. I hope this year is a good one for you all too :) Do you usually all go in your own cars, or do you buddy up?

Anyone in the South East area fancy meeting up for some pictures?

Removing the tints on mine was probably the best thing I did to my car, it really didn't work for me.

Anyone in the South East area fancy meeting up for some pictures?

We could do with a little member's map in this section, showing everyone's location, so for times like this we know where is best for everyone :) I'm in East Sussex, but happy to travel as I like driving :)

Anyone in the South East area fancy meeting up for some pictures?

I can have three flashes and a set of wireless triggers with me, so anyone with a DSLR can have a go at some off camera flash stuff as well. I've only got two light stands, so may need some 'human' light stands to help out :p

Anyone in the South East area fancy meeting up for some pictures?

Anything around Thurrock area is good for me. Somewhere quiet, but a little industrial looking I think would be great. Best time would be about an hour before sunset, so we can get some shots when it's still light, then some nicely lit shots when the sun starts going down.

I'd be up for it. I'm a wedding photographer by trade (well, part time), and I've not done any car photography, but I'd certainly like to give it a go. Did you have anything specific in mind? My Flickr shows off some of my non-car stuff - http://www.flickr.com/photos/scarysquirrel :) If we had...

Best Clio Youve Seen On CS

This is one of my favourites, no idea whose it is, but I love it: It's pretty much how I want mine, I just need to get my bullets sprayed (end of the month job), and sort my ride height out a bit. I want to be the same height as this, but I'm on KTR coilovers which are quite soft and rub a...

    Question about ride height

So a subtle nose down stance is generally best? I did find something on a BMW forum which said something about weight distribution, nose down meaning that more weight is on the front, resulting in better grip and less understeer. However go too far and you could potentially have 'nose diving'...

    Question about ride height

Hi all, I've done a bit of Googling, but couldn't find what I was after. I wondered what the general effect on handling is with different ride heights. Such as, what are the handling characteristics for a car which is lowered, with the front low and the rear high (nose done), or the front high...
