Hi mate, yeah that was me :)
I think we ended up exchanging about 2 or 3 waves in the end :p
I had been up to buy some H&Rs off someone, except when he took them off his car one of the rear shocks was completely gone, so it was a bit of a wasted journey unfortunately :(
I've had a twanging sound recently as well, when turning at low speeds on full lock. I didn't know how to describe it, but 'twanging' is the exact word I was looking for!!
I had the exhaust same issue and it was driving me nuts. I didn't want to decat it, so I had the following done:

Fixed the blowing exhaust issues, and...
Get the proper ones, they're worth it.

Looks great!
I'm trying to decide what to do with mine. I have Arctic Blue with Anthracite Turinis, I'm tempted by either:
- AB with Silver lettering
- AB with Anthracite letter
- Anthracite with AB lettering
Not sure :s
Hutchy, buy the above from Dean. I had the exact same work done to my Milltek and it's AWESOME. Great sound, no exhaust leaking from the crappy joins of the cat, and it's all still legal so you don't have to worry about it.
Dean, why are you selling :(
There's a lot of varying opinions on induction kits and the like, from what I have gathered, and I am by no means an expert, don't bother unless you desperately want the extra noise. Even then, you can get some 'free' induction sound by just unplugging the feed into the standard airbox, sounds...
Thank you :)
Ohhh, I just realised I'm coming to see you on Saturday (yay!). I wondered if I could demonstrate a creak which I noticed today (it's just when turning at low speeds to the left (or right, can't remember)), and see what your thoughts are.
Just to warn you, and James at JMS will...
Hi all,
I'm interested to know (from someone who knows their stuff), what the key components at the front end of a 182 (or 172) are, and roughly how much they cost and how long they'd take a mechanic to replace, or if they're easy for a novice to fit (I've done brakes and coilovers before...
Well, we've all seen them before, but I think there is a reason so many people get Turinis, they look great in my opinion!
Don't worry about being a sheep, or what other people think, just get which ever you like best. I like all of the recommendations so far in this thread though :)
