    Rocker cover gasket leak?

No idea what that's off. Can't imagine it being an inlet gasket leak, otherwise you'd have a high idle.

Must have used a fair bit of this when paying for them 😂

    Rocker cover gasket leak?

It can leak from the actual solenoid seal which is next to the oil filler. Or it could be any of the bolts really. If it's just the odd bolt leaking, you can remove it and put a bit of silicone under the head and nip it back up.

    Rocker cover gasket leak?

No, it's a cambelt job mate. The cover holds the cams in. It's a liquid gasket too, not a physical rubber seal. First cylinder on the left would be no.4. Potentially it could be the dephaser solenoid seal, which is easy enough to do.

    Kangoo Compact (aka Racevan3)

I've no idea how to calculate that, but the 172 cams will be a 'bigger' cam won't they compared to the Meg ones. This will lower the dynamic ratio i think.

You're right in the ballpark with 8.3:1 then. Will see 350 all day, no bother.

    What's standard Mégane 3 compression?

    Kangoo Compact (aka Racevan3)

Probably splitting hairs for the power you'll be looking to run. I'd go with the 1.75mm gasket. 8.3:1 sounds plenty low enough. Cover and sump look good.

Bilt Hamber autofoam has removed light contamination like that for me, when mixed up strong. Depends how long it's been on there.

    Brand new wheel sealant?

Did my white track wheels with Gyeon Rim about 4 years ago and they still look like this practically, apart from the barrels which have pitted from hot brake dust. Recently did my new anthracite 2118's with Gtechniq C5, two coats 12 hours between each. Goes on better than the Gyeon I think...

    Who Makes What?

Yeah it's one of them 'where do you start' when it comes to who makes what. I'm guessing Gates make the full cambelt kit, but i can't be too sure. They definitely make the actual belt. The dephaser is Aisin. Aux belt is Hutchinson, not sure about the tensioner. Most of the water/coolant...

    Carbon Cannister Removal

Never noticed any. You could put the breather anywhere tbh

    Carbon Cannister Removal

I removed the plug and stuck a resistor on it. Bung on the inlet. Removed the pipework all the way back to where it joins the main pipe. If you look underneath just behind the front wheel arch where the subframe brace is, you'll see what i mean. I put the breather in there.

Heater Fan Not Working But Can Feel Heat

Sorry I can't help with the fans not working, it sounds more serious than the usual resistor pack (but still worth checking). You will still feel some heat in the area, as hot engine coolant is still running through the heater matrix.
