I've seen one on the road and it is genuinely jaw dropping in real life, pretty surreal aswell when it pulled off from the petrol station in full electric mode, absolutely silent. I'll post up my videos/pictures when I'm on a computer.

Think it is just pot luck, but every single person I know who has had one has had major problem, all because of the engine (French sh*te...) My mates is in a specialist as we speak having major engine work done because of coking.

No contribution from VW, my mechatronics unit was beyond repair so had to buy a new one. The specialist I was using couldn't beat VW's price, and tbh I was just so fed up of the situation that I just told them to fix it. And no the front bumper isn't standard. Looks quite OEM though imo hence...

Well after 5 weeks without it, some serious f*cking about and alot of money spent, I finally have the car back. Doesn't feel any different than before it went bang which is seriously annoying. Currently deciding whether to run it over winter and then sell, or put it up for sale now.

I agree with it needed the multi-spokes but I honestly think this gen looks better than the current, newer ones are so out of proportion at the rear. Enjoy it!

Yeah as said, they seem to be very unreliable cars. Well played on the warranty although I would check thoroughly about whether coking is covered because as I understand it BMW removed it as a warrantable repair.

No joy. Said he doesn't have any clue when it will arrive. Been 4 weeks so I've got two left. Everywhere else I've looked is saying between 2 and 4 weeks for delivery. Although he did say if I haven't have ordered Gold it would probably be here by now.
