Yes but this will bring the price right up either way which seems to be the biggest gripe about the GEN90 its price so i can't really see them paying for a loom to be made up, i for one could rewire a house no problem but wouldn't have a clue where to start when it comes to car electrics

    K-tec alternative in South East

nope!!! iv seen atleast 3 cups which didn't have the RS lower inlet and as said these are the better cast which have less to remove than the standard inlets, also your not just matching them 2 each other but also smoothing the internal of the inlet for improved airflow

why a few hours with a Dremmel?? its a few bolts to remove the slam panel which you can have off in less than half hour. only place i can see the Dremmel being any use is for fitting aero catches

Yes but making a loom from scratch will be out of a fair few people's capability's and also like you say about redoing it later on if (when) you get a fault will make no difference if its a section of loom what hasn't been spliced thus in fact still being a problem of a corroded loom which...

    K-tec alternative in South East

INCORRECT!! not all cups have the RS lower inlet and yes they are a better cast than the normal inlet's but there is still some improvement to be made on them

I can't help but laugh mind Chip when you keep going on about the standard corroded loom as isn't this infact what you splice in to with the OMEX loom? so your still effectively using the corroded loom that you keep mentioning or am i missing something

    which to buy

can't say i ever had any problems when i had them fitted to my cup before, incorrect fitting usually leads to the bad cabin vibration, mine was very slightly more to i'd say the same degree as a powerflex'd dogbone

until the road has the slightest bit of mud on a damp day and the car just snaps away mid corner and you don't have enough time to catch it best thing i did was remove mine and sell it was perfect while dry but i was allot less confident in the wet with this fitted compared to without it

I wqs thinking that tbh but until the other side accept liability the OP will have to pay his excess and then claim it back as that's what they told me 2 do so I told them to just bring the car home until it was sorted and then rebooked for the repairs

you claim off the car that hit you insurance, i had a foreign registered car hit me head on my side of the road back in april, he accepted responsibility so it goes down as a NON fault accident and shouldn't affect your NCB either, it has however put my insurance up slightly but this could also...
