Was talking to a mechanic about the 172/182 conversion im putting into my 2001 1.2 16v. He said that if I have electric steering i have a no-go as far as the conversion is concerned. Had a look throught the threads but no mention of this problem, anyone got any clues?

what's the current opinion on the 182 tail ends? I sized up a 4" rolled and it looked a bit on the big side, havn't seen many slash cut ones. Who has pics of theirs?:)

In first gear when I move off the car splutters like its stuggling, happens whether the car has been running or from cold. Also sometimes if i was to tap the acc in neutral, I can hear it struggling from the exhaust. Any ideas?

recently clipped a curb and my passenger airbag and pre tensioner went off, ive had the seats and tensioner replaced so now its just the computer. would i be better off sending my module to get the crash codes erased (any uk companies?) or will getting a module out of another uncrashed clio work?

hi guys ive got 182 seats in my 2002 1.2, was at renault earlier with the airbag light on. they said that the passenger airbag was giving the fault signal but they wouldn't touch it because its not the original, nor could replacing the computer help. i thought maybe the airbags weren't...
