think 7 mm is a bit to much to cut away imo........sell the rims and get some that wil fit. Best solution but not cheap.

You have to take something off the rim to come from et 25 to et 37. Spacers will get the rim further out the arch.

17jj is the size of the rims.....They are 17´s right?? don´t it say more?? wierd cos all my rims had et and size on them too

Is the colour temp. the same (kelvin) If the numbers don´t match you could try swopping to identical bulbs......have you had them changed??

HB3(low beam) and H7(main beam) are the bulbs for the double optik lights.......H1 are for the fog lights. Have had Xenon in mine and they are not worth it as the lence is not all clear but have structure that affect the light. Now have Osram cool blue(HB3) and they are very bright with...

What he said^^^ If the picture above is the front then the pins are on the back side of the plug. Lift them with a small screwdriver and pull the wire out of the plug. Beware not to break them plastic pins"!!

You have to lift the small pins(plastic) at the back of the plug, then the pin´s come out very easy.....

Defo take the fuse out....As ^^^^ davebem said the H4 bulb will blow big time with both high and low beam on.

You will need spacers as the 172 wheels are ET 43. They must rub on the inside of the arch. 5mm spacres might cure the rubbing.

Mine had H4 from standard and the ekstra fuse worked in mine when i mounted my double optik lights.......Never had any trouble. It´s a 1,6 8v from -99

Have the IVA-D300 media station with NVE-N099P dvd-sat nav and the CHA-S634 mp3/cd changer. New model is IVA-D310 with a small display at the front but otherwise allmost identical.

But what a awesome system;) Well happy with mine, sound qual is very very nice. Musik vidios on the screen with dvd-sound qual is soo much better than just sound. The sat nav is spot on and have all the goodies. TMC and a huge POI database. Split screen ect. ect.

All my stalk controls are working fine with my Alpine and that is with a changer in the boot. The adaptor cost me aprox 50£........

Smaller ET gives wider track......So you won´t loose 5mm as the wheels sits further out in your arches with cup wheels.

Get a Alpine media station with slide-out screen, and then dvd-navi to go with it. Touch screen is so nice;)

Not a problem, mine does it too sometimes over speedbumps ect. on H&R coilovers. Just slammed it after a winter in the sky....I used a fair bit of WD40 to get the platforms lowerd and it didn´t doo so far. Just a matter of lubrication:)

Why?? it´s dated and way too expensive....Get Alpine dvd satnav with touchscreen TMC. Thats the way to go.

I know one who have the plasma dials in his 1,6 16v and he says the plasma panel needs a ignition lead for backlighting and the needles will be orange in the Clio (same as standard backlight) It´s a strait swop + some soldering ect. with the 12v ignition connection. Waiting for a in-car...

Anyone know if the dial housing from a 1998/1999 clio 1,6 8v model can fit a 1999- as the pictures abowe??? I have a different layout dials.......is it a strait swop?

Forget "reverse" signal. You don´t need it.....My Alpine dvd-nav works fine with speed-pulse only.

I also took a small saw and got rid of that ugly Reno knob.......Have a nice carbon knob now...:-)

You will need to put a extra fuse in the fuse-box at the side of the dash. Can´t remember wich socket but it have a "light symbol" Then the dashlight for lowbeam will go off when high is selected. And low beam will stay on at your headlights- Simple.......
