The Best is Alpine´s dvd sat-nav.......got it all and lots of features including. TMC. Nice graphic and split-screen.
Porteble sat-nav I would say Garmin street Pilot 26xx series. miles better than tom tom and pda-systems.
Got all of them in the last years....And now my alpine does a wery...
Daylight is aprox. 5700 kelvin........So anything over 6000 kelvin is just for looks IMO.
I have 6000 K hid´s and they are blue enough me think. Any more blue/violet just meens a poor light on the road......
Garmin street pilot 2610/2620!! Had one and was miles better than tom tom and navman........Sold it to buy my Alpine dvd sat nav. But defo go for one imo
well the map- dvd are a bit pants.......several faults and missing house numbers.
Have the 2005 edition so that could be way better IMO.....Otherwise wery good unit.
Just had my new Alpine sat nav NVE- 099P installed and still testing it........Awesome unit so far.
Anyone have some good/bad things to say about their´s??
Don´t think it´s as accrurate as my old Garmin street pilot:confused:
But they are still Halogen bulbs that imitates the Xenon- effect. 3900Kelvin will still be white/yellow
Xenon bulbs are 5000K and higher......And The Xenon gas needs 23000v to light.
I see your point....I had it like that when I first should lower my beast...;-)
Went for -35mm Eibach pro springs and was happy for a while, but just wanted to go a tad lower. Didn´t wan´t any half solution and risk in getting some low quality -60mm springs and saved for the real thing...
I have a H.I.D.-kit on my mk2 ph1 double optik lights and it´s wery easy to fit. All the sockets fit in the standard plugs. It takes about 10 minutes to shift to halogen at mot time ect. There are mounting plates for the ballast´s and the bulbs fit´s in the HB3 sockets (9005) Just remember to...
Yes..........It has a 1 x AUX AV Navigation Input so shouldn´t be a prob.;) Has to be the Alpine nav. computer thou....Alpine NVEN099P-Z001

Had a Sony H/U that turned it self at full volume and no buttons was working..........Get rid of it, they are crap units......Get a Alpine!! Never had problems since I got rid of the Sony.
Yes i have a Alpine D-300 and it´s awesome not a mk1 thou but you can adjust the screen to any angle. not sure the dvd-drive can play in the angle the H/U sits in a mk1 thou??
