Alritey then, its been awhile since i last updated anything in here so i thought id post up a few things that have happened in the past 4 or so months.
After finally fitting a Milltek decat i sent about changing a few things like sidelights to a nice led colour as originally it was like driving...
Was looking at replacing my silenced(resonated) Milltek centre section with the non-resonated version. Just wondering what peoples experiences are with this as i don't want to buy it and it drone like hell. Will have the standard cat back in place as well.
It's not a wax but Auto finesse Tough coat is great for light coloured cars and can have up to 6 months durability. They have a deal on where you get a free bottle of Tough prep when you buy Tough coat :)
+1 on the britemax stuff , it comes as a set that has "Easy cut" which is a polish and "Final Shine" which is like a sealant. Used it on mine and it works a treat.
@Adeyspec nothing big just yet! Aux belt is due end of this year so around then and incase anything big happens good to know a specialist is close haha.
Thought this might be the place to ask , where do you guys go for Renault specialist work? Most of the popular names around the forum are all up north(ish) or far down south!
@not normal dan @dann2707 Cheers guys both cracking cars!, will get them put on Wednesday and see if i like them in 16", currently have turinis on but they need a refurb so it's between Turinis or the pro race 1.2's for a refurb the other set will be sold.
Getting a wheel refurb soon just after some pictures of td pro race 1.2's in anthracite ! Ideally in 16" and on titanium/iceberg but all inspiration welcome
Cheers
Thanks for all the tips guys! Gonna give it a crack when the weather picks up. The turinis however are going for a proffesional refurb as they're to nice for me to mess around with. Anyone know the paint code for trophy turinis?
Right then , i took a trip down to wales yesterday to pick up some pro race 1.2's , i bought them knowing the paint wasn't in the best condition but they were a bit worse than i thought but bought them anyway as he knocked money off because of it. So i had planned to plasti-dip them but the...
Youth's these days ;)
Sweet , will have to invest in those before summer. I like how the H&R's are bolt to hub much better idea and can still use TPI polarized bolts!
I might be being retarded then, the cooksport site says 25mm front and 30mm rear. Got any pictures of them on with cup shocks to?
Definatley agree with you on the apex , was hoping Vmaxx had a slightly better review haha
So currently my 182 is running 40mm apex springs which are obviously very harsh etc however the stance or looks are spot on imo but am looking for some coilovers as a replacement. I'm looking at Vmaxx coilovers which are a budget coilover but they have to be better than apex springs in both...
Anyone run these on there 182's? Was after a refurbish for my Turini's but these are cheaper and have strangely always fancied a set. Just wondering if there an easy fit being as they are slightly wider etc..
Cheers guys
