I had locking nuts and I managed to weld a bolt to one of them then unscrewed that bolt. Messed up my alloy but i was getting rid of them alloys anyway.
Got 1 out like that. Rest I went to a tyre place and they hammered in a key (universal thingy) type of a socket then twisted that.

Looking at ktecs website they do say that it comes with replacement bearings.
I just thought they were like a block of metal and never contemplated on how the suspension actaully fits on to it. Im going to try...
Hi all.
I have a clio 182 FF, everytime I get it tracked then the tracking goes out again within 2 weeks.
When I turn the wheels the springs clunk, I had a look by taking the alloys off and couldn't find anything loose. Some days it clunks alot and sometimes it doesn't.
It seems to me that...
Hi
I'm going to replace some suspension parts as my car is knocking and steering towards the left.
It could be steering towards the left because of tracking that needs done but I'm not liking the various knocks and other things so I have purchased the following for peace of mind:
2 new...
Put the new Alloys on. Looks better now.
All the steering issues that I had seem to be gone!
Some pictures of the Clio in the petrol station.
Needs a good clean
Update last night:
Spent ages getting 1 security wheel nut off. I mean at least a few hours. My welder wasnt just up for the job! Attempted the second and so I didnt get anywhere.

Ooo. I didnt think about the centre bore too much. I thought renault. Ill do some research on the sizes.
Going to go check some other alloys out in 10 minutes too. This just to give some better shoes as these 17" scrape at back and are all bold.
In the long run id like some speedline corse...
Apparently there's a guy called scoff who knows his stuff in EFI. My mate is saying.
Is the guy actually called Scoff or was he meant to type Scott?
lol.
That is pretty awesome stuff man!
I have amig welder with 0.6mm wire at home. With a Carbon Dioxide / argon mix gas as well.
Out of practice myself for a few years but I may do it myself so I know it'd done properly. It would require a proper cut job on it.
Not going to lie. I'd love to do this and have done with my previous corsa c20xe (2.0 petrol) build. Only thing is - i've got married very recently. Need to keep Mrs happy - at least for a few years. hahaha. God, I hope she doesn't see this.
lol. You've litterally answered all my questions in one go. genius.
I made a video of my idle being a little lumpy (either that or my OCD) and yet, from cold it's crap.
I've already spoken to a company called BHP-UK. I work in an inductrial / technology park and one of the units is rented by...
I'm getting nothing other than Brand New Uniroyal Rainsport 3.
I'm going to leave steering wheel all the way to the last of my jobs to do because my hands get dirty when doing stuff with the car, last thing I want is a refurbed steering wheel with grease and muck all over it.
Seats are quite...
Hi !
My first post and first Renault.
I've bought myself a Clio 182 but have a ton of questions in mind and hope you all can give me advice and some help.
I've previously built a c20xe in a corsa so I have some mechanical background and a load of tools but new to clios.
Here are a few pictures...
