aye tis a time ago, but that car was the quickest around, until i built mine ;)
bearing in mind these werent stripped out, no dash, no doorcards, no 2nd skins on owt, cars.these were back seats n spare out at most.
think adis n saph coss was same day i wasted 1 too hehe.

imho i think the meg head/mani would be a better base to start from than the willy head/mani. with the possibility of extracting more power out of the meg head...
lol...not defending the megane head, just thort the transition from round to almost round would be more efficient than round to nowhere near round lol.

iv been running a williams head on a megane block for years. never had any issues with it. in fact it took the so called tuners^^^^^^^ years to build a quicker engine. ;)
the megane head willbe better suited to the bodies, mainly due to port shape, the williams inlet ports being more oval...
and for better all round performance, go for stand off injectors, thes will also aid in top end power/torque. switch from injectors closer to head for low end, once up n runnin at a decent speed, fade closer injectors out and switch to stand offs. ;)

its also had a respray, which would prob cater for how clean it looks lol.101k....no stonechips???? bit of a giveaway.
wiliams 1s are the only ones to go for imho. lighter, more appealing, better trim. again......imo.
and dont be fooled, the mk1 2.0s win pretty much 95% of drag races with their mk2 brothers. has been proven many many times. ;)
engine out of megane wil fit too, and they are slightly cheaper, f7 r 710 or 714 for meganes, f7r 700 for williams.

havent driven an r27 yet. but was well impressed with the few lap stint of the r26 a spa. felt considerably quicker than the williams over the lap, yet i was passing most 197s in the willy. ;)
wouldnt mind a go in the r27, but my money would be on the r26 still. tbh
i have 2, and have owned another 1 that would all give the outcome above.
iv also driven countless others which would give the same outcome.
mileage doesnt seem to really bother the f7s if their well looked after. by that i dont mean never driven, i.e low mileage. id much rather...

next to a 182, id say slightly quicker to a ton, maybe have around the same, maybe bit lower top end. get to the twisties tho, the 182 wont see the williams for dust.
