Welcome, My Mrs has a Valencia orange DCi85, they drive fantastic, big step up from the mk4 in both interior feel and build quality and definitely in the way they drive!
This!
when I used to go to rolling road days from here then generally the healthy 172s made high 160s and the healthy 182s made mid to high 170s, but of course that figure was really only good to let you know if your car was "about where it should be" as I'm sure on another rolling road you...
The problem you will probably come up against is those units were terrible for the coating on the front peeling off so people will just skip them rather than sell them.
This seller is breaking a car that has one but the front has suffered the same failure: Breaking Renault Clio Mk3 3Dr Silver...
from memory there is a TomTom Sat nav one (also available in gloss black):
a Bluetooth one with no sat nav (possibly the same unit, they at least look the same!):
and then the non bluetooth, non sat nav one which looks like this:
Is it the correct stereo for the car? a mk3 came with a few different ones. That looks like the aftermarket wiring harness, trace it back and see if there is a connector block
you will also need to remove the metal cage from the inside of the housing on the dashboard.
Awesome, looking forward to seeing the progress of this done.
+1 on the airbox strap - mine doesn't have one, I'm sure I've binned them in the past!!!! Mine has a missing airbox clip and I remember how pleased I was with myself a few years ago when I found one and sold it on eBay for £9
My thought process was generally when the mileage has been modified the trip computer starts playing up by not displaying average mpg.
The outside temperature wont work on media nav 1 when enabled, I'm not sure if that's a limitation of medianav 1 or the cars that it came fitted too.
That looks like its probably on coilover suspension, looks a little too low for just lowering springs but its worth asking the owner, looks like its got a set of wheel spacers on it too as they stick out a bit further than standard. Black badges and a set of wind deflectors, think that seems to...
Have a peak under the bonnet next time your bored, It will either be the 75hp non turbo
or the 100hp tce turbo
Tuning potential on the turbo motor is great!
I found my GT DCI 106 was about 15mpg off my mapped DCI 100 on the same run! MK4 was around the same as the mk3, current Mk5 is a bit better but it's just a DCI 85
I was following it on Facebook and I see your posts keep getting removed from the group's! - as people commenting were suggesting their negative posts towards supreme also got removed.
Very shady!!
As above, come across it a lot, you can bend the top of the door out enough to get access to the Interior door handle or bonnet release. It bends back fine too.
It's weird there seems to be 2 camps with regards to the steering. We had a JDM one in stock at work and I took it out as I heard they were night and day with the hydraulic setup and although slightly better it was still vague to me.
I think people probably use different senses to determine...
I think your reading too much into the "electrical gremlins" that people who have never owned one seem to talk about. a MK2 Clio is of the age where its basic enough there isn't really any serious electronics, it doesn't have modules everywhere etc - There isn't really any electrical issues to...
Ah wasn't sure if you were on here. Cheers for showing me round the car when I seen it, remember you have promised me a run in it when it's running right!!!
You thought about speaking to another specialist who might have the ability to fix it? Worth a session at EFI I'd say!
Lowering springs you will be able to get from the usual brands like eibach, h&r, apex etc
Exhausts there isn't really anything off the shelf so you will need to go custom. Probably look best if you get a GT rear bumper and then a custom exhaust to fit that.
