lmao at this thread.....
fortunately when i was lookin into the jenvey bodies, but with DTA ecu, i contacted DTA to see who would map their ecu for me. they put me in touch with a guy even they classed as a bit of a genius. and thats coming from an ecu manufacturer, who has had to use...
lol.
tis a tuffy
not sure how reliable the vees are like, but the mk1s are pretty slow, hehe
williams......well..time spent lookin for a good un will repay u in money later on...lol....get a rite un, and it wont cost u a fortune to keep on the road.
much the same as any other car...
lol.....pretty much destroyed all 4 tyres tbh.the 2 left uns outers are totally shredded brand new on fronts..not so old on rears.
was on track pretty much the full hour.....except a couple pitstops..and a quick close up of the wildlife...once to pick ali up...he tried using his normal...
home made mount too??
nice n steady.....shudda stuck it in mine wen i took u out...looks like ud av got more footage than 3-4 laps at a time ;)......them brakes are fukkin poor.....they recyclin the chocolate eng mounts into pads n discs now??
wot ur arse or brunters??
lol.........nowt wrong wi the box mate....still has all 6 gears.....will worry wen it starts missin a few lol.........was the operator............old c**t he is ;)
tbh..once 3rd is selected...a good williams will pretty much pull away from a good valver.probly at a rate of a car length a gear. then once 5th is selected......the williams will just keep pulling away
in a straight line
round the twisties.....the extra torque comes in very helpful...
for the money uv got to spend.id say valver tbh.
if u get a willy, u want a good un, 2k isnt really gunna get u one of the best uns tbh.
whereas a valver.....can pick em up fairly cheap now, and money saved on purchase can be spent on mods.
if u had a bit more to spend on actual...
williams lumps respond well to minor modificatons, in my experience.
set of cams, pullies, bit of head/valve work and a re-map will have u pushing 180 easy.
see stan for cams/pullies/work.
try using www.williamsclio.co.uk youl probably get advice more specific to your needs there...
^^^^^^^
as above lol
jus stop payin for it..its in her name...let her pay for it
or at least give her the option of paying for the repair....or paying for the car....her choice
tis about rite mate tbh.
im surprised no 1 s tried doin reno for false advertising yet.or at least misleading advertising ;)......same with the 182s also i believe
as saaid above...stay away from kent cams products. its not just the pullies that fail, but the cams also. is was the case on mine....luckily i only bent 2 valves..but the cam trashed the williams head.
piper or catcams.....id say. altho i havent tried either product.
sorry to hear this mate...but better off doin it now while u can, rather than have someone rearrange the shell so evrything fits rite........while they trying to cut u out.
