Thanks for the help with the brakes George! I have got everything fitted along with some matt black Laguna wheels with NS2R's on them. I read the reviews on the tyres but thought I'd give them a go. It's ready for a remap now.

What set up was that Bill? Similar to mine with the 630 injectors?

With the 630 injectors should I see around 300bhp/300lb after a remap? Because that would be more than enough.

I couldn't believe the condition, considering it's 17 years old. But it has only done 2k a year. It's fast enough to be fun to drive and they do handle very well. But you're right, the Navara would probably keep up on the motorway once rolling.

Thanks for the detailed post Paris. I bought mine on condition over engine/spec. I drove all variants 90bhp/115bhp/133bhp and felt that the MX5 was not really about power. The 90bhp still manages to put a smile on your face in the twistys. I did not want one that had been repaired/welded etc...

I found it difficult to put a price on it. Plenty advertised for £4k+ in worse condition and more miles. I'll be honest, there hasn't been a great deal of interest in it. Not the best time to be selling a soft top.....

I'd take £3k....

Not done much to my MX5 and I have only managed to cover 600 miles this summer, she ticked on to 47k yesterday. Changed the oil/filters and managed to find some standard wheels. Had them powdercoated and bought some new nuts. Sprayed the centre caps and had some custom badges made to replace...
