Do u know if the switch needs to be closed or open? If i tape it up that means the switch will be pressed in so will airbag on steering wheels still work?

No havent seen a rivit :o lol OK i did read about steering wheel thing so maybe i'll just tape it back seeing as the seat is always far back anyway!

Remember i havent got cool buckets like urs, just standard seats that still need the connectors lol! And putting airbags into something that doesnt have airbags lol!

Yep i have done that and put it back on to the new seat. Seatbelt pretensioner is on, pretensioner/airbag connectors are all plugged back in and htis is all thats left and dont know what to do with it now.

I have snapped a micro switch thing. Its only on drivers side. Does that matter?

OK everything is sorted now other than a tiny black switch which i think i have snapped. Its only on the drivers side and has a wierd piece of metal hanging out that presses the switch on and off. Anyone know what this is and if its neccessary?

In the process of swapping my cup seats for leathers and it starts to poor down with rain and has been for 4 hours now!!! :( I did the passenger seat first but am having trouble with the wiring underneath. There is grey and yellow connector which i have sorted out and then there is a black...
