Feedback he has received in the last couple of days:
"Outstanding service. I would recommend this seller unreservedly."
"Good seller with keep good communication."
The only bad feedback he has got is from one person who he sent a passenger side mirror to instead of drivers.
Yeh he could just be on holiday or something.
If you buy an item on ebay that has it's own listing you can request the contact details/phone number of the seller. I wonder if there is any way we can do that even though the items don't have their own listings?
Yeh you could post the pic up on...
To really cover myself I should have made him list them as a buy it now on ebay, then I'm sure he would feel more inclined to keep up good communication as he wouldn'y want any negative feedback.
Yeh we'll see, I did just wonder if any one else on here had dealt with him as he has got some fairly sought after parts.
Paid by paypal, a goods transaction so should be pretty safe.
I've sent him two emails in the space of a week, I would hardly class that as being annoying. If I was buying something that was 10 quid then I wouldn't check if payment had cleared but because it was a much larger amount I wanted to make sure it had gone through ok. A quick reply sayin "got the...
Cheers.
The advert sounds pretty genuine and with him having a pearl black cup spoiler and cat cams i did wonder if he might be on here, especially with him knowing the significance of a 182 manifold. He didn't sound like a regular breaker.
It's just the lack of communication that worries me. When I sent the money I asked if he had received it ok, got nothing back. the next day I asked if they had been posted but again he didn't reply. Before I sent the money he was really on the ball, replying pretty much straight away to any...
It's been a week now. If he was still in contact telling me they were in the post and providing a tracking number then fair enough, but I've not heard a thing since I sent payment. Prior to sending payment he would reply within a couple of hours and we exchanged about 6 messages. It does feel...
Having a bit of a problem with the ebayer responsible for this listing:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260703324080&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
I agreed to buy the Xenon headlights, we exchanged several emails and he always replied very quickly. I sent payment via paypal...
I'm wanting to get my Grandma a mobile phone as her eye sight isn't as good as it was and she is struggling to text on her current phone.
I don't want someting that looks like it has been specifically designed for someone who would find a regular mobile phone difficult to use. But I think it...
How come they are dull now? it's only 6/7 months ago that I had them powdercoated, I was going to get some Turini's done in the same silver this week but if that is what they look like now may have to reconsider.
Finally got my hands on a set of Turini's without having to pay through the nose. Found them on ebay and were just down the road from me, badly in need of a refurb though.
No idea mate, maybe the "PiperX" wasn't doing such a great job as being a filter. Although I do think when I cleaned the throttle body on my last PH2 with 85k on the clock it was in a similar state.
Finally fitted a standard airbox today.
Before...
After...
Throttle body looked like this,
So cleaned that up whilst at it.
I'd done about 1100 miles in the last 3 weeks since her last clean, so with the weather was looking like this.
3 and a half hours later when it was getting...
Just give your local Skoda dealer a call, they might not have one in stock but will only take a day or so to arrive.
Cheers, I miss my black PH1.
Progress on the cup is going quite slow really, buying a house has slowed me down as I seem to spend more time decorating than on the Cup, not good!
Gave her an oil/filter changer yesterday. Asda are selling Castrol Edge 5-40 for £30 (4l), an extra litre is a tenner.
Bought some Goodyear F1's to replace the Tornado ditch-finders on the front, they are getting a bit scary now the weather has taken a turn for the worse.
I bet if you returned it to standard it would fetch around 2.5k, maybe a little more. Then you might get £1250 for all your aftermarket parts, wheels/exhaust/suspension.
