I imagine the PiperX with be causing a bit of heat soak, don't worry though I have got a standard airbox and elbow to go on, I could just do with getting some feed sorted before I fit it.
I sold my Black Ph1 to help buy my house and ended up in a Punto HGT, which wasn’t a bad car at all and hardly cost anything to keep on the road. But I did miss my Ph1, it was my third 172 but probably the one I got most attached to.
So when I had settled in the house and got a bit of spare...
If my budget was 1500 I'd stick to trying to find a clean, standard PH1 that was HPI clear. I'd have thought you could run one for a year, look after it and not lose any money.
Sorry Jim I'm not going to make this, need to do my brakes. Intended to do it last Sunday but the garage who had the car on Friday didn't give me my locking wheel nut key back.
I'm missing one of these on the drivers side rear, Renault want £45 for some sort of repair kit that will contain this boot. I'd pay this but I'm not sure if I'm going to need new calipers and if i do, don't want to have spent money on something i won't use.
Has anyone got this boot from...
Cheers. I'm not sure what I fancy, either a cheap used standard system, a used stealth one or I've had a few
prices for a new custom one. I think I'll be keeping this for a while so custom might be the way to go.
Yeh I was there for a couple of hours, was going to change my rear discs and pads but a garage that
looked at it on Friday hadn't given me my locking wheel nut back. So ended up cleaning it.
I do fancy some coilovers, but I'm going wait a bit and get some decent ones, unless some crop up second hand. I didn't really like my ktec ones, so it'll stay on apex for a bit.
Yeh, buttertubs I think. If I can get my rear brakes done I'm going to go, hoping for a little less traffic than last time we went.
I'm hoping the garage can find mine and havn't left it in the wheel, didn't fancy getting them whacked off. I'm sure they end up marking my wheels.
Yeh i think I'll get 3/4 plate.
Was meant to be changing rear discs and pads today instead of cleaning, but the garage that had it in on Friday decided it would be a good idea not to give me the locking wheel nut key back.
It looks gash aswell! Shouldn't there be a seperate breather though aswell with this sort of kit?
I've got a standard airbox and have ordered the elbow, so it shouldn't be on much longer.
I think it's mine.
I've been having a better look under my bonnet this evening, first time I've had a decent look since buying it last week. I don't know who would put this kit on it and think it would be an improvement. Shouldn't it have a seperate breather aswell as there isn't a smaller...
