Oh right - maybe as its in the cliosport members section it needs verifying first? No receipt for me either time (why i tried to buy twice ill never know:dead:)
No contact number on their site, so had to send an e-mail instead.
Attemped to pay for a set of coilovers today, via paypal as I was paying with my debit card, however when logged in to paypel and clicked pay, I never got a receipt via email or on the final page, I was just taken back to my shopping cart which still had the coilovers in it. Thinking I had made...
I got it from www.roadrunnermotorsport.co.uk, but you can also get them from piper direct - it takes 1 day to fabricate to normally a 2 day lead time delivered IIRC.
Yeah it sounds good and the quality overall is very good, welds etc.
I'd go to the stealership and get a 182 surround mate, get it right first time.
Thats the one I went for in the end :)
Cheers. The trim came supplied with the exhaust, and is plastic as opposed to the 182 trims which I believe are rubber? Not sure on prices tbh mate, sorry. Your yozza will look much better when recessed :)
I cut the recess into my cups bumper a few weeks back to recess my exhaust. Firstly worked out where the exhaust would sit in the bumper. Secondly I marked out the recess (using the trim as a template), cut the initial recess using a tile saw with a tungsten carbide blade (1 or 2 mm in from the...
Contacted tweeks today, and made a major mistake on my part, I forgot to add the VAT and delivery onto the price which came to £738.
So back to the drawing board - Konigsports anyone?
Fittings sorted - got a mate with another cup whos helping me fit them, so no cost incurred there. With setting up, that will happen almost immediately after FCS. Cheers for the opinion - like I said I have considered but also discounted the vmaxx setup and with my budget KW seem to be the way...
I understand they will create a harsher ride, but as you mentioned the stance is important to me aswell as gnerally firming up the ride.
I think it will be the KWs then, unless I see some ASTs in the classifieds within the next week or so.
Cheers :)
LOL, thanks:approve:
Hmm - I must admit i'm tempted by the AST's. Regarding the spring / damper suggestion - i'm set on coilovers now, purely to get the stance spot on.
They don't 'have' to be new, but second hand sets seem few and far between, with me wanting them fitted before the FCS, I feel new is the only route to take.
The main priority was to improve stance and B-road driving while reducing body roll slightly. Regarding the decision to budget £650 - I...
Beleive me, I have searched numerous times - but with the KW V1s due to the two letter acronyms its difficult to search seen as you need 3 letters minimum. With the Weitecs I cannot find many users or user info / feedback with most being age old threads anyway.
So as per my original question -...
As per title really. Budget is £650 max, discounted FKs due to reports of the harsh / crashy ride and gaz because of the leaking dampers and poor ride.
So it's down to these two really - KWs will be the V1 variants at £620 delivered while the Weitecs are £467 delivered. Anyone with experience...
