Ahh maybe me that's got it wrong then ?
My silver ones came to suit the M10 fittings in the seats, although the holes to bolt it to the subframe are still M8 ?
There is also a hole in the gearbox bell housing that has some marks on it to show TDC, the flywheel has a mark on it too and they both line up when it's dead on.
Quite hard to see though, you'll need a bright light down there to help. It's next to where the crank pin goes.
I run the non XL Pro Series with the silver alloy sidemounts with the 35° mounts.
I had to drill some new holes mate.
You may need the 90° mounts with the XL being wider.
Something up with the discs or spacers there.
Jack it up and spin the wheel round and see if the disc catches at any point in the rotation.
I've seen it where caliper carriers have been off slightly and you get like a 'ching, ching' noise as the discs hits it.
When you put the horseshoe tool in, you should be able to put a bolt in top that locates in the top of the cam cover.
If it's 180° out on both then it wouldn't line up with the bolt hole. It'd sit higher.
Was a good day.
You're definitely going to be competitive in future races for sure.
One of the best build cars on the grid! The state of some of those cars racing ?
