Tbh mate if we're talking 4k worth it's pretty badly f*cked. The one at work I've mentioned with the same damage as yours - it's bent the main bodyshell of the car where the door meets the wing, which would mean strippin it down and jiggin it back into shape - a big job. I wouldn't be surprised...

I work in a bodyshop, and that would never be repaired ever in a month of sundays. Don't touch it. Even if somebody could bodge it together again, there's a chance the slightest pothole and the lump of filler stuck to it will just crack/fall off.
