SPA Oil Temp & Pressure Gauge Installation

I've found some now mate, cheers. One question though, which way have you routed the wiring around the engine bay? Mine will be here this week so I'll be looking to fit it soon.

SPA Oil Temp & Pressure Gauge Installation

Massive bump, but where did you get the 3/8bsp male to 1/8bsp female adaptor Mark? Looked everywhere and all the 1/8 sides are bspt (tapered not parallel).

    Brake kit recommendation

PBS pads all round or DS1.11 front and 2500 rear. Only really need 4 pots when running big boost to scrub the extra speed off.

    ph1 172 pedals position

You need to practice more. It's easily achievable in any Clio i've driven. If you were to raise the throttle, then by the time you're heavy on the brakes and go to move your foot over to blip the throttle it'll be too high and you'd just end up hitting the side of the pedal.

Living with a 182 in the MSV Trackday Trophy

Following this! Unlucky about the incident on your first test day :cautious: If you can manage to get some, Toyo R1R's are popular as a wet tyre for club racing.

How often do you change your gearbox oil?

Probably best to get the 4 quart, then you'll have some left over and can just get 3 quarts next time. The tube on that pump is quite short tbh, so can't see it reaching from the top. Rope your mate in to do it lol.

How often do you change your gearbox oil?

About the best you can get. https://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-1019-red-line-synthetic-manual-transmission-lubricant-mtl-75w-80-gl4.aspx I use one of these for filling https://www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/tools/hand-tools/laser-multi-purpose-mini-pump It's a bit of a pain doing it from...

Looks like my bean got written off this aft :(

I'd buy it back and run it forever and then when you do sell it, it can be sold as a track car.

    K-tec Exhaust, MOT Time

With the new rules that came in play in May 2018, exhausts are tested for noise at the same time as the high ilde emissions test. Unless you can find a friendly garage, you're knackered really.

Go pro editing and general ballache

I can see why you might want to but for me, if it's not made the edit then generally it wasn't worth keeping anyway. The average track day is about 16gb of footage for me, can get quite a lot of them on a 1TB.

Western Digital drives are decent, something like this 1TB should do you. https://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing-accessories/data-storage/data-storage/wd-my-passport-portable-hard-drive-1-tb-black-10154528-pdt.html Once i've edited my videos i tend to delete the original gopro files tbh...

Go pro editing and general ballache

That type of GoPro is always slow for getting the video files off, we had one. Found it best to remove the card and use a card reader to copy them to the pc much faster. Movie Maker should be fine for you. Or if you're like me and have access to £1000+ software then Adobe Premiere Pro CC ?

    Washer pumps

Yeah that's right. The pump can't do both outlets at the same time, so it does one then the other.

    Washer pumps

Both pumps are the same. What do you mean about the 2nd outlet being blocked off for the headlight washer? It's 2 outlets, each washer has its own outlet supply.

Measure the springs off the car and go from there.

New rear springs have made the height different on both sides

Clios do tend to sit higher on one side tbh. Shouldn't be massively different though. What size gap are we talking?

Lack of power during dyno run

I don't know that area tbh Does it run much different? You should be able to feel a 20hp loss in these.
  27. Mr Trailer Man

Lack of power during dyno run

It can slip yeah if it's not been done properly, or just not timed properly in the first place. First thing to do would be to get the timing checked and go from there. All the Clios i've seen on dynos run way low on power have been timing related.
  28. Mr Trailer Man

Lack of power during dyno run

    Timing must be massively out.
