FLOL, spare a thought?
it's not like they are fighting the rebels and might lose their lives, they are working on a problem and getting paid for it, probably nice wages too out of hours so i won't spare a thought for them, they can get their arses into gear and fix the bloody service i pay good...
cool, i've just had a 1.2m wide panoramic canvas of the grand canyon done, was £100 and it's ok, but i have to stand back at least 2 m as any closer and the detail is poor, suppose thats got more to do with the image, but its a 15mp from a canon 50d.
looking to get 3 or 4 more done for the rest...
i disagree, animated blu-rays look amazing, noticeably better than dvd, yes on dvd they look good but they are another level on blu-ray.
planet earth was very disappointing for me.
As noted above, transformers, dark knight (IMAX scenes are unbelievable), bladerunner, ironman.
the best fuckup they did was to release an enterprise vault agent, and then release EV 8 at the same time and the new agent not be compatible with the new version of EV, and a year later its still not compatible, both are their products, absolute joke!
lol, BE is a pain in the arse!
HP Data protector is better, it actually works, whereas BE only does when it feels like it.
SOme of the new features in BE2010 look like they could be quite interesting though.
I just love the irony with BE that we all use it for DR, but its one of the most...
so in the gui, you go to where you set up user accounts and add licences ets, think its switch options??? next to zone admin anyway i think (not got mine infront of me but I am doing this in the morning anyway so i can look then)
then there is a page where you can reboot the switch, on that...
yes, it looks like it might be, most of the pics above are using my 17-55 or 70-200L i think.
the 24-70 seems to be slightly out of focus on some shots, its just not there, i took the same shots with both and the 17-55 were definitely way more in focus.
not sure whether its back focusing? i...
+1, I got 1000/1000 for the vista, was a piece of piss!
I didn't get any subnetting questions either in 291, was something i was shitting as i couldn't get my head around it and it was all for nothing in the end!
the problem in this country is internet speed, we don't have the infrastructure yet to be having everyone downloading HD content over the existing service.
A hd movie is a big download if set at the same quality as a bluray disc, say 20gb, thats going to take a long time over most people's...
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
takes a little while to get used to it, try changing the settings, can be over sensitive, makes a difference the way you grasp the phone too.
have you found the kers button yet, took me a while to accidently find it.....
i guess they could have been talking about the size of the disc compared to dvd and then translated into quality wrongly.
I do remember that aswell Dan, but as McBunny says, its a false statement, it all depended on the codec they used, and a lot of the time it was the same one.
FLOL, love it!
Oh and its Bluray ;)
Its only the physical method of carrying the data, the codecs used were mostly the same and so the picture would be identical anyway. HD-DVD was very good, just didn't have the support sony did, think it was when warner bros. decided to switch and the ps3...
the canon's what aren't that great?
i'm not come across a canon lens which is not up to scratch really (apart from the crappy cheap consumer stuff).
I have the 10-22 canon wide angle, its a very good lens, just not quite in your budget mike.
good man, what colour?
p.s. don't use the screen protector, its not required and gives a sort of petrol film to it as its a mirror one, but as said, its definitely not needed anyway.
exactly what i was thinking, need to just try it out, i've heard certain issues with lenses where they struggle to focus at certain points or orientations etc. could just be back focusing i guess, which i should be able to fix with the 50d.
anyway, i'll give it a go, if its knackered i will...
i'm a technical consultant for an IT reseller, do storage servers and vmware etc.
So bugger all to do with cameras, i did ask my boss why we had sold a lens (would have the ability to through distribution as a company but we sell computers, would have been one of our customers seeing if we...
i'm looking forward to comparing it to the 17-55 f2.8 IS, very similar spec lenses really and people say it should have been an L lens, plus it has IS over this 24-70, will give it a good try over christmas.
