yes, it looks like it might be, most of the pics above are using my 17-55 or 70-200L i think.

the 24-70 seems to be slightly out of focus on some shots, its just not there, i took the same shots with both and the 17-55 were definitely way more in focus.

not sure whether its back focusing? i don't really know how to solve it using the 50d though, its not straight forward adjusting the lens in there, have tried it before.

You can test to see if its backfocusing using three pegs and a washing line. Places three pegs about 10 inches apart of eachother. Stand about a foot to the left/right and focus on the middle peg.. see which ones in focus... front peg or rear peg!

An older gentleman told me that when i was having trouble with my Sigma, probably a grid you could print off to see exactly how far its out but.. the pegs worked for me!

Well not wanting to miss out, snow has finally reached Bristol.....not a huge amount but the roads are now essentially sheet ice, so s*d venturing out in the Z4 Coupe.

Some of my Snow efforts from last night

Went a walkabout last night at midnight with a mate and took along the d60 with standard 18-55 lense with tripod. Quite difficult to capture the snowy scenes but tried to make them a bit 'moody'. Some turned out better than others. Any tips on how to improve on these???

Comments welcome:)

I clocked these bad boys this morning. Grabbed a quick snap before they disappear.

And just a random one. Might take some more tomorrow.
