But that's exactly what it is, a giant iPod touch.
That's the Market they are going after, people who sig in front of the tv doing email and browsing the web while watching tv.
Touch and phone are a bit too small for extended periods so the screen size of the pad is perfect, and people don't...
The strange thing is that my iPhone pics that have geotaggong don't have their wherabouts listed, only the 350d and 50d ones.
I thought it could be someone doing it, but it's every photo, and I have thousands on there!
Ive just been on flickr on my iPhone and was looking at a few pics and noticed it had where they were taken.
Now this started to confuse me as I have not put in any location info, I checked the tags and the tags don't contain where a lot of them were taken, so how the hell is it doing it.
My...
you're right, it doesn't natively play mkv's, but the conversion of the file takes less that a minute, 10-15 seconds most of the time, and i coincide it with copying to the usb drive at the same time so in reality it takes no extra time, as the encoding it simply changing the container, so it...
ok, so if i only have a ps3 (so will cost me more to get one of these things!) what does it give me, the ps3 seems to play everything i have tried on it?
you still have to download the files to your pc before you transfer them to it right?
and in reality, its not going to stream HD over wifi...
To be fair, the screen resolution is not an issue, like saying you have a 1080p 32" tv, looks no better than a 720p 32", you can't really appreciate the extra resolution on such a small screen. And for me personally, I don't really want full manual, if I wanted that much control I'd use my slr...
Yeah, the panoric shots are shot using the HD video feature I think, so won't be as high res for blown up shots, I'll take one tomorrow in the daylight and upload it.
guess it depends on your priorities, sony is lighter, faster (burst and iso), better video, has the fancy panoramic mode and i can use bravia link to play back images and vids on my tv.
the lumix has a slightly better mp and zoom, but apart from that it doesn't really offer anything more, and...
the things this will do keep amazing me, in low light conditions it will take two pics straight after each other to enable you to choose the right exposure, it'll even take 6 together and merge them together to get a more crisp image. It also has a blink mode so when taking a portrait takes 2...
I've never tried the whole stitching pics together to make a panoramic shot, always sounded hard work plus I haven't got a clue how to use Photoshop for anything other than simple touchups, but this thing makes it so easy, clever bit of software running in the camera to do it on the fly, you...
I've had the camera less than 24hrs, that was my first panoramic and my 8th pic I think, plus it was on auto and the sun was quite bright from that direction, so thanks for the feedback but it was not the sky I was showing......
i've not taken many pics lately, infact, very few, and its partly due to me sometimes not wanting to lug 20kg of camera stuff around, so i thought i would get myself a decent p&s for everyday use.
I then spotted sony were launching a new range, and i've always used sony for my compacts, never...
ah yes, film 4 is due to go HD in the summer.
5ive missed the deadline for freeview so won't be on until at least after 2012 as they wouldn't commit to a launch date, might be something to do with what you are saying.
4's already in HD though, 2 channels, 4 and E4.
If they already have the programmes in HD (which they do) then I can't see it costing a great deal, it's not as if they need to start filming in HD, all the programmes they buy in are already in HD including neighbours and H&A
not quite true, normal customers can also get it from the 3rd, but that might just be the showreel
I got an email from comet the other day asking me to pre-order my 3d set for july, only one per hoursehold lol (they must think its going to be popular) and a 40" sony is £2k
not heard of these...
