dvd.co.uk are running 2 disney dvd/bluray for 1
got the brand new toystory 1 and 2 special edition blurays for £18, bargain and great preparation for number 3 later this year!
45 Hd channels is more than freeview sd has isn't it, I'd say that's a he'll of a lot, most of what I watch on tv is in HD now, there's not enough hours in the day, all the sport, all the movies, Documentaries, so much HD, there's actually not many more channels that could be made HD IMO, as 5...
coming the sky in the summer, lots of programmes apparently, they do have a lot of stuff which is broadcast in HD in the US.
no word on it on other platforms except theres been a falling out with them and Ofcom over when it would be launching on freeview, as they wouldn't commit to a launch...
I wasn't saying it was, do you not think I have grown accustomed go wearing glasses in public.
Wearing a second pair, which are hardly comfortable, and them being darkened coupled with most people get headaches after prolonged 3d viewing mean I can't see it working as a regular thing at home...
sitting at home wearing big plastic glasses while trying to relax watching tv is not my idea of fun though, and thats coming from someone who wears glasses 24x7.
well, the news you lot have all been waiting for, my favourite channel is launching properly on all formats!
from april 2 it will be on sky, virgin and freesat (as a proper channel, not red button)
so at least it won't be such a pain int he arse for sky viewers, especially with the world cup...
what frustrates me is software compatibility
i use my laptop for web (firefox is on mac i think, so check), digiguide (no mac client), and usenext (lower feature client, can live with that), photos (sure the mac will be good at that, i upload most to flickr anyway and IDM (sure i can get used...
i struggle to believe they are worth the money unless you are buying one to have a fancy case and look cool.
you can get a much better spec for the same price with a non-apple laptop, apple couldn't come close to my sony's spec and it was cheaper, and sony are hardly ugly, no brainer really...
It was to do with the psn though, because of the date and the way psn is configured it stopped people from connecting with the date being before it even existed!
After a few months of use my weapon of choice is still without a doubt the iPhone, 9700 had it's perks, long battery and auto off and on (good for a work phone).
Keyboard is too fussy and small though as is the screen to do anything other than text email.
Lol, why not?
It's not going to be any different turning it on then to doing it now, you'll still have to actually get online to do the update and that's what the error did, stop people from going online.
There may well be a patch on the 8th but it's over now so they are only patching against...
sony announced earlier that there would be a fix within 24 hrs, so maybe they have fixed it.
i bet the date thing is just stopping people from logging into psn so they can just change the date parameters to allow wrong dated ones to log in and then change the date on sync maybe?
it was...
I can't see why people are saying not to turn it on, you've got to turn it on eventually, it'll be the only way to fix it, it's not like you can apply a patch without turning it on lol!
Be an interesting one this, nearly as bad as the 360 fiasco ;)
maybe there will be an app you can...
